AgriPV Solar in Agriculture

Agrivoltaic or AgriPV refer to the integration of solar PV projects within an agricultural activity.
It combines a variety of business models, co-designed between solar and the agricultural sectors such as AgriPV systems, the deployment of PV on the roof of agricultural buildings or powering agricultural machinery with solar power.

Agriculture is particularly vulnerable to climate change. Higher temperatures, water scarcity, new pests, or extreme weather events endanger the resilience of our agri-food systems.

  • Protection against extreme weather conditions
  • Reduction of evaporation / increase of soil moisture
  • Improvement of the ecosystem
  • Increased electricity production and efficiency
